If you love the cinema and you are looking for something different in Morocco this may be the most suitable excursion for you.

Departure from the hotel / riad where you are staying at 7.30am, towards the Ouarzazte region.

On the way south we will cross the Atlas mountain range, passing through the highest port of this one, the Tizi N’Tichka pass, at 2,260m high.
Along this road we will enjoy different landscapes and Berber villages.

Before reaching the city of this region, with the same name: Ouarzazate, we will stop at Ait Ben Haddou. This fortified city of adobe and mud, crowned by towers as a defense (it is comparable with the medieval castles), is one of the best preserved until our times of all Morocco. In 1987 it is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
But above all it is known to have been the setting for several films: as Lawrence of Arabia or The Mummy, among others and the well-known series in our time: GAMES OF THRONES

Then we will arrive at Ouarzazate ‘the Hollywood of Morocco’, where we can stop to eat and walk its streets, or visit its kasbah of Taourirt or enter the museum of cinema. About 19 we will be back in Marrakech.
