On this tour we will introduce you to the Europeanized city of Ifran and Azrou with its Cedros Forest.

After the reception at your hotel / riad at 8.30am, we will go south-east until reaching Ifran. It is located on the Middle Atlas, at about 1650 meters of altitude. This city is ideal for lovers of pure air and tranquility.
In 1929 it was built by the French as a mountain resort, inspired by the architecture of the Alps, which is why it is known as the Moroccan Switzerland, because of its similarity in its architecture.

In it we can find on the road to Mischiflen a great palace, one of the most famous universities (Al Akhawayn University), a military school and many luxury villas.

In the center of the city there is a lake surrounded by trees, next to which we can see a stone statue of the lion of Ifran.

It is necessary to emphasize two of his well-known festivals: Tourtite International Festival, with varied music, art, nature and sports.
And the Miss Beige Festival ‘Miss Snow’, coinciding with the winter, with numerous cultural and sports activities.

To end the day we will go to Azrou, this city is best known for its Cedar Forest that surround it. The most famous inhabitant of this forest was El Gran Cedro Gouraud, the largest cedar millennium in the area, but unfortunately a few years ago he died, due to a plague of processionaries. Near this one there are different souvenir stands, drinks and peanuts.
Why do we say peanuts, because this is where we will find thousands of Monkeys of Gibraltar, with whom you can take photos and feed them.

Enjoy this excursion to enjoy the charming scenery and the company of these animals.

And if you still want to see the city of Azrou, you can find a small but charming Medina, where you can find shops and craft workshops mainly wood carvings and carpets.

About 18h we will head to Fez. Our services will end on your return in your riad / hotel.
