Essaouira
On this excursion you will visit Essaouira, the Pearl of the Atlantic, a city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001, along with the Kasbah and the Mellah (Jewish quarter), forming part of the old walled city.
This coastal town is located on the western Atlantic coast, north of Cape Sim and is the last walled fortification of the Mediterranean Sea.
On the other hand, the bay is bathed by the waves of the island of Mogador and the north-west winds, the trade winds, which favor the coast with a multitude of lovers of wind sports, such as Kate surf or surf, between
others.
Reception at your hotel / riad in Marrakech at 8.30am and then we will go to the destination of this excursion: Essaouira.
Just arriving, the city invites you to stroll through the streets of this quiet city, which leads to alleys with whitewashed facades, craft shops, and other mysterious corners that you will find by its medina (such as the prominent Orson Welles square, endowed with a garden
and a bust of the film director, who shot his film ‘Othello’ in the splendid scenes of this city.
Here you will find a gastronomy with a particular stamp, such as its delicious fish and freshly caught seafood.
In the afternoon we will return to one of our 4 imperial cities of Morocco: Marrakech.
